Westcotec at Intertraffic: form seeks like-minded partners for collaboration in new
markets

The Norfolk-based road safety technology firm Westcotec will be exhibiting at the Intertraffic show in Amsterdam at the end of this month. One of the firm’s priorities will be to start some conversations with potential partner organisations from anywhere in the world who share its values.

According to Westcotec Sales Director Olly Samways, the time is right to be increasing international exposure – and the potential opportunities are significant.

“We already supply our own equipment direct to customers in other countries,” he said. “But we know the value that comes from a good relationship with a trusted, like-minded partner with in-depth knowledge of a particular region and marketplace. “An example of this is our decade-long relationship with Safex as exclusive distributor of our products across the Scandinavian region. The Safex team knew their market and put forward some different ideas to the table which proved successful.

“Similarly, Nexus Alpha are not only supplying our speed signs to communities in the United States, they are also acting as a hub for international innovation – and proving to be a committed and proactive partner.
“We encourage any organisation who shares our values to check us out, understand what we do and find us on the Intertraffic stand for an initial conversation.”

This year Westcotec will be exhibiting:

  • Its collision avoidance system which incorporates a thermal camera
  • Pedestrian and cyclist protection signage
  • Its Faithful 3 sign which displays mobile phone, speed and seatbelt violations

There will also be live demonstrations of Westcotec technology using part of the specially-constructed roadway that runs through part of the stand. Check the Intertraffic floor plan and locate Westcotec at 01.100. The exhibition opens on Tuesday 29 March and closes on Friday 1 April 2022.
