Introduction

The Fosse Way runs through open Warwickshire countryside, where long straight stretches tempt drivers to speed up just before blind bends and hidden junctions. We delivered this scheme with Warwickshire County Council as part of the Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership, to deal with inappropriate speeds along the route. Vehicle Activated Signs (VAS) give drivers a clear warning at the points where it matters most, encouraging them to slow down in good time. The film follows the route from the driver’s seat, so you can see each sign as an approaching motorist would.
